Cheep, (SA Sports Fever) Cross bow.
Recurve, 175 lbs, "advertised 235 fps”, More like 210.
On the rail, the 1000 grit wet or dry, with a bit of oil, and a FLAT block,
You can see their were some high spots, back on one side, front some other side.
Thinking want that as 'Smooth' as possible, because that is where the string rides.
Then took a bolt, (one that came with), did one wrap, and scoured the, 'grove' in the rail.
Very few high spots, but it is now smooth.
Then I used a gun product, (If you want try, Eezox, Rem-Oil W/Teflon/Benchrite Bolt Lub)
Goes on wet. let it sit overnight, than polished with cotton cloth.
Then, a liquid, Silicone, (used to waterproof shoes)
That rail is now slicker than a wet snake.
The butt pad, didn't need, 'soft', just length,
so took a old hard one, taped some holes in the stock.
The Over travel screw, Just about anything will work.
The 'extra' forearm, a piece of scrap alum, (framing from a window)
To, 'big', holes is bottom, to small holes, to fit bow quiver mount holes.
And the sided of that, "U" Alum, covered with a piece of old car floor matt,
held in place with some exopy, (Next time thinking double sided Carpet Tape)
